Some things you
should probably know:
Ken Rothermich is a designer and art director, based in Brooklyn.
In addition to winning “Best Design” in the Cub Scouts 1987 Pinewood Derby, his design work has been featured in publications including PRINT Magazine, Graphis, Communication Arts, HOW Magazine, Coupe Magazine, and received accolades from the Type Directors Club, the FPO Awards, the Brand New Awards, the International Design Awards, the ReBrand 100 Showcase, and STEP Inside Design 100, among others. He has also on numerous occasions been referred to as the “Ronnie James Dio of design.” *
Ken currently works as a Creative Director at Addison, as well as independently as a freelance designer and art director. He has worked with brands big and small, including GE, PepsiCo, Anheuser-Busch InBev, LVMH, Diageo, Rémy Cointreau, Altamarea Group, Union Square Hospitality Group, and many more.
Ken was brought up in the Midwest and received a BFA in Graphic Design from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio (my home state). In his spare time, he has been known to make art, write music, play guitar in punk rock bands and travel the world.
